Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of Web Status Raven, operated by Hulltimate Software Solutions Ltd. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.

1. Permitted use

You may use the Service to monitor websites, APIs, and endpoints that you own or have explicit permission to monitor.

2. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • Monitor systems, URLs, or IP addresses without authorisation from the owner or operator.
  • Use the Service to attack, probe, or stress-test third-party systems beyond normal uptime checks configured for your own property.
  • Configure check intervals or volumes intended to overwhelm our infrastructure or third-party targets.
  • Upload or transmit malware, phishing content, or illegal material through the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass security, access other users' data, or interfere with the Service's operation.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable export, sanctions, or data protection laws.
  • Resell or sublicence the Service without our written agreement (agency use for your clients' sites you manage is permitted on appropriate plans).
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when registering or contacting support.

3. Email and alerts

  • Alert emails are sent to addresses you control or have permission to use.
  • You must not use alert features to send spam or unsolicited messages to third parties.

4. Fair use

Plan limits (monitor count, check frequency, and features) define fair use. We may throttle, suspend, or require a plan upgrade if usage materially exceeds reasonable use for your tier or threatens service stability.

5. Reporting abuse

To report abuse of our Service or unauthorised monitoring of your systems, contact support@webstatusraven.com.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove offending monitors, suspend accounts, or terminate access. We may cooperate with law enforcement where required.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
